Sail Canada Basic Cruising Course

Who is this course for?

This course is for beginners with little or no sailing experience and those with some experience who want a Sail Canada Certification.

  • Prerequisites: NONE

  • Certification: SAIL CANADA BASIC CRUSING STANDARD

  • Pleasure Craft Operators Card (PCOC) AVAILABLE FOR $50

This is the first course in Sail Canada’s Cruising Series (Basic, Intermediate, Advanced, and Offshore cruising).

  • Course text book

  • Sail Canada log book, exam, certification

  • Instruction (Ashore and Afloat) 28 hours


When are we Sailing?

JUNE SESSIONS:

Four Consecutive Days (Tuesday to Friday):

  • June 24-27 9:30 am to 4:30 pm

Two Weekends (Saturday and Sunday)

  • June 21 & 22 and 28 & 29 9:30 am to 4:30 pm

We will be sailing from our dock in the North Bay Marina, Memorial Dr. North Bay
